Most of us eat poorly because of our current emotional state!

Emotional eating is a term used to describe the practice of using meals to cope with negative emotions, such as stress, anxiety, boredom, and sadness. It involves consuming massive quantities of food, often high in energy and low in nutritional value, to temporarily relieve emotional discomfort. While occasional emotional ingesting is normal, consistent, and excessive emotional eating can lead to weight gain and other health problems, including obesity, diabetes, and coronary heart disease.

Emotional eating can be triggered by a range of factors, including social and cultural influences, personal experiences, and psychological factors. For instance, individuals who have had a traumatic experience or suffer from nervousness and depression may turn to meals as a way of coping with their emotions. Additionally, social, and cultural messages that promote the use of food as a reward or a way to celebrate can also make contributions to emotional eating.

There are several ways to identify emotional eating, such as eating in response to emotional triggers, consuming large portions of food rapidly, and feeling guilty or ashamed after eating. People who engage in emotional ingesting may also have difficulty recognizing bodily hunger signals or distinguishing between physical and emotional hunger.

There are countless strategies that can be used to manage emotional eating. One of the most effective is to become aware of and address the underlying emotional triggers that lead to overeating. This may involve in search for the help of a mental health expert or using techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or exercise to manipulate stress and anxiety.

Other strategies for managing emotional eating include organizing a regular eating schedule, choosing healthful and satisfying foods, and finding alternative methods to cope with emotions, such as engaging in hobbies or spending time with supportive friends and household members.

Emotional eating is a common practice that can have bad consequences for physical and emotional health. By identifying emotional triggers, creating healthy coping mechanisms, and making positive lifestyle changes, it is feasible to manage emotional eating and improve universal well-being.

Hypnosis for Weight Loss & Management

Hypnosis is a tool that has been used for many years to help individuals lose weight. It is a state of idea where the individual is in a relaxed, focused nation and is open to suggestions. During a hypnosis session, I as a trained professional will guide you through a series of visualizations and suggestions that are designed to assist you to achieve your weight loss goals.

One of the main advantages of hypnosis for weight loss is that it can help individuals change their attitudes and behaviors in the direction of food. For example, I will suggest that you visualize yourself consuming smaller portions, or that you associate unhealthy foods with negative emotions. Over time, these recommendations can become deeply ingrained in the individual’s subconscious, leading to lasting changes in their ingesting habits.

Hypnosis can also help individuals decrease stress and anxiety, which are often major contributing factors to overeating. By addressing these underlying issues, people may find it easier to stick to a wholesome eating plan and achieve their weight loss goals.

It’s necessary to note, however, that hypnosis is an extremely powerful tool that should be used in conjunction with a healthy diet and workout program. While hypnosis is a powerful tool for weight loss, it is not a magic answer that will lead to instant results. Instead, it should be viewed as a complementary method that can help individuals overcome psychological barriers and make lasting adjustments to their eating habits

“See yourself, imagine yourself wearing that perfect outfit of your choice. And being able to reach your weight loss goals and remain there permanently!”
Losing weight is not easy, especially in a healthy manner and the journey is filled with complications. It usually involves drastic workouts and fad unproven diets.

This is where weight loss hypnosis comes in to help you out with your journey of losing weight. Weight Loss Hypnosis will help your subconscious mind handle trigger points for overeating, and it can also help you with sleeping problems. It helps you overcome binge eating sessions due to emotional issues. It will definitely help you deal with food cravings and help you maintain eating in a timely manner. Not to mention making you feel good and motivated for your journey.

Hypnosis for weight loss is so effective because we uncover the root cause(s) and the source of your unhealthy eating habits!

Let’s face it, most of us don’t have access to, or time for a full-time personal trainer to motivate us. So how do we stay motivated for healthy, consistent weight loss?
With the power of Hypnosis!
Our unhealthy eating behaviors are usually learned during our childhood: we were given sweets for being good, fast foods because it was just easier, and given sugary drinks as a treat.

We associated all those unhealthy foods with happiness, excitement, and positive behaviour as children. Unfortunately, now as adults when we feel stressed, sad, and upset we look for the same feelings of happiness. Thus, the cycle of eating for emotional stimulus continues and your weight increases.

With the power and effectiveness of Advanced Hypnotherapy, and the brilliance of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Time-line Therapy – my exclusive, customized therapeutic program goes well beyond yesterday’s traditional “weight-loss” Hypnosis therapy. Not only will you lose weight, but a focus will also be placed on your overall well-being! You will feel energized, happier, better equipped to handle all situations, relaxed, poised and sleep better. Your anxiety and stress levels will also decrease. Ultimately, you will feel worthy, loveable, the feeling of belonging and that you are absolutely enough! But enough about me, read what my happy clients are saying: Testimonials.

“When you’re ready for positive, and healthy weight loss I can help. You’ll feel great, look great, energetic, confident, with higher self-esteem!”

Frequently Asked Questions

Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy used to readjust the subconscious mind. When in hypnosis, you put your mind and body into a heightened state of learning, making your mind more open to positive suggestion for self-improvement or behaviour modification. The goal is to rebalance the subconscious and conscious mind allowing them to work together in harmony, which in turn helps give you greater control over your behaviour, emotions and physical wellbeing.

Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis is not a state of deep sleep. It involves the induction of an induced state of deep relaxation. In hypnosis you are acutely aware, concentrated and focused and it is in this state that the conscious mind can relax and stay calm and become more responsive to positive suggestions, ideas, concepts and lifestyle changes.

Hypnotherapy is not at all like the performances you see in stage shows, where you might see people barking like a dog or clucking like a chicken. There are no swinging pocket watches and no mind control. In a hypnotherapy session you are in control the entire time. You will hear the suggestions made to you, and you will be able to remember them after the session. Hypnosis cannot do anything that a client resists.

Now let’s dispel a few myths:

  • You cannot get stuck in hypnosis – this is quite impossible.
  • You do not become in any way unconscious or semi-conscious.
  • You cannot, at any time, be made to do things you do not want to do.
  • You are totally aware of yourself and your surroundings at all times.
  • You do not go to sleep.
  • You are not in anyone’s power, like the hypnotherapist, and nobody can take control of you.
  • You can leave the hypnotic state whenever you want.
  • You cannot lose your mind.
  • Hypnosis cannot permanently remove memories or thoughts from your mind.
  • You will not suddenly blurt out your ‘dark’ secrets.
  • Hypnosis cannot bestow psychic abilities or supernatural powers.
  • Hypnosis cannot make you act against, or abandon, your moral code.
  • You do not say or do ‘funny things’ unless you want to.
  • Hypnosis is a truly natural state of mind and body and is therefore perfectly safe.

The experience of a hypnotic trance is not altogether unusual. On the contrary, it feels similar to countless other moments in your life where you may have been absorbed in a good book or movie, lost in thought, engrossed in music, driving to your destination and not really remembering quite how you got there or even meditating.

Meditation is actually very close to a trance state without being guided there, as you would be in hypnotherapy.

Once you enter a state of hypnosis, your body will feel calm and relaxed, similar to the way you might feel when meditating. Your therapist will speak to you in a calm and gently assertive voice, and place the suggestions you agreed to in your treatment plan into your subconscious mind.

The process is simple, fill out the free virtual strategy form and I will contact we will meet for your free consultation. We will discuss your goals, issues and thoughts. A customized plan will be created specifically for you.

If you want to have hypnotherapy, you are a good candidate for it. Hypnosis is a willing state. If someone is trying to hypnotize you against your will, it simply won’t work. For that reason, if you are extremely skeptical of its efficacy, or if you are frightened of it, it may not work for you.

During your initial free 30-min virtual strategy call, we will discuss your presenting issues, your goals and your expectations. I will ask some questions to gain an understanding of your needs taking into account any medication or other therapies you may have had or are currently having with other healthcare professionals. I will explain in detail how clinical hypnosis works, what you can expect and you will have an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. You will then be guided to a wonderful state of deep relaxation and enjoy a demonstration hypnotherapy session.

Subsequent sessions will begin with a full in depth review of how the presenting issue (or issues) have improved since your last session followed by a full therapy session.

Yes, absolutely! Everything I do is powerful and profound. You will notice incremental changes in your behavior. Your loved ones, or close friends will most likely notice first!
